I also raise and train English Setters and German Wirehaired Pointers. I developed this leash from the same 1/2" spliceable double braid rope as my leads and reins. It just feels that good in your hands. A bolt snap is properly spliced on one end, while a hand loop is spliced into the other A brass ring is incorporated into the splice so the snap and ring can be attached so the lead can be tossed over your shoulder for hands free carrying when not in use. Standard length is 6 foot. Your dog shouldn't be able to break this leash!! Contact me with any special variations.
